How to remove item from Context Menu (after app removed)

Using Using Windows 10 Home, and I had a software installed. Then, when I tried it out, I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. But now, it still appears in the context menu for some reason. I tried to see if I could remove it either manually via Windows, or using some tools like shell context menu and even glarysoft utility which has an option for context items. And yes, I rebooted the laptop already to no avail.

It's not in the open with context menu (tried the steps from the link just to see, but no it's not in there). The app from the context menu is in the first layer, the one when you right click on an item and you have "scan with..." or "edit with notepad++" etc.

Exactly. You have to edit the Registry to remove those items.

That's what I'm saying lol, it's not there. I cannot delete it, since it's not even in there where it should be. I don't know if there is maybe another place to verify, perhaps? I have tried several, to no avail.

EDIT: I was able to delete around 30 registry entries :/ It seems to be gone now. Talk about crapware software :/

You can always use one of the context menu editors. Otherwise editing the Registry will always fix this issue. Context Menu Editors: Add, Remove Windows Context Menu

Thanks. I will keep it in mind the next time I need to use one of them. I had tried another one, from the windows club, though I think it was only meant for system context menus.
