This Windows 8 regs file works perfect to enable control panel in Win 10 navigation pane. You still need to do the permissions though. It doesn't matter if the folder are hidden or not....it will still show in the navigation pane.

    Cheers

    Hello Mike,

I'm not sure about in the navigation pane since it wouldn't open in File Explorer.

I could most likely add it inside "This PC" like a listed drive if you like. It would look like this in the tutorial below for "Devices and Printers".

Well, you see, I lost whole upper list in Start right click menu, none works including those two so I thought that adding them to desktop menu would make it easier than going to RUN command or other ways.

I'll create a new tutorial for how to restore the default Win+X menu items to help with this, but for now:

Here's a copy in a ZIP file from my system for the top half of Win+X.

    Group3.zip

You would follow almost the same steps in the tutorial below, but you would only copy the contents of the Group3 folder in the ZIP above into your folder below.

    %LocalAppdata%\Microsoft\Windows\WinX\Group3

Sorry, when I say "Lost" they are still there except nothing works from those links. Nothing happens when I click on them. I just copied and replaced all links from that .zip file. still nothing.

As a test, does one of the shortcuts from my ZIP folder work if you copy it to your desktop and open it from there?

Does this happen with all shortcuts, or only in the Win+X menu?

If you like, here's this below for now until we get this sorted.
