Is there anyway to restore classic control panel?

    Judging by the looks of it and what others have said, Microsoft is trying to remove Control-Panel entirely. There are plenty of Tutorials Online to try and restore the old Control-Panel but I would be careful as they do involve Commands or Mods and they could break your PC.

    It is shame though, the old CP opens within a sec, Settings takes 10 secs and sometimes crashes. I call it a scripted nightmare, but that is the future, so I just have to get used to it.

    No, you don't. There's always a work-around if you try hard enough, is what Windows has taught me.
