Transparency Effects on Windows 10

I have Windows 10 Build 17763.167 on my Laptop. I reset the OS two days ago and in the process lost the transparency effect on Start Menu. Now I am unable to restore the transparency of the Start Menu even after trying all options given in the Tutorial.

I also have a Desktop with Windows !0 with exactly the same transparency configuration as this Laptop that has not been reset and it shows the Start Menu transparency like the Laptop used to show before resetting.

Can a Member of this Forum please help me to restore the transparency on my Laptop?

I have read that in some cases this has to do with battery saving:
Transparency when in battery saver.

Yes I did and tried to restore transparency after reading it, but I was not successful. Thank you very much for taking your time out and helping me.

or an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all programs, data and most settings.

That build has never been available to the general public, it's an Insider build. Are you an Insider? It was re-released as build 17763.168 in the Insider Release Preview Ring on 3 December,
