    Mouse pointer... how to apply to login/welcome


    Hey guys. I am the only user on my laptop and have a custom mouse pointer...
    How do I set this to be the mouse pointer on the screen when the pc loads.. the login screen...

    Applying themes like that is later in the boot process, so I don't believe that would be possible.

    You are clearly aware that in general if different users had different themes, the login screen would have to be generic.

    Yes but I figure if u can apply the clock format to the welcome screen and all users I thought maybe the mouse as well.. thanks for the reply

    You'll need to change the default cursor. It is the one shown at login screen.

    Via the registry, located at:
    HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Cursors

    You'll need to change those, or at least the pointer and busy/working, manually.
    Make a backup of the original entries just in case.
