Although I was a holdout with Windows 7 until late 2018, I've been having a hoot tweaking Windows 10.
I haven't been completely successful at altering the context menus much but I'm reasonably satisfied.
I've forgotten the context menus from Win7. Could you please identify what is missing here besides that certain context menus are missing icons or the widths are wider than necessary? TIA

Interesting to note:
The native Explorer shell shows the default 'themed' right click context menus...
however, if I invoke an action within the QTTabBar shell, my right click menus appear the way they were intended, without any additional dll injection...
Of course, why notThe project I'm working on now allows this. All context menu icons are displayed smoothly, and I can also add any color I like instead of light blue for selected menus.

In fact, the healthiest way to change Windows 10 context menus (I'm talking about showing it as in Windows 7 and 8) is theme-based options.
Methods of injecting DLLs on Windows Explorer are only possible if the codes are written correctly so as not to disrupt the basic functioning of explorer.
Still, I would have expected this to be offered to us as an option by Microsoft. (For example, "Disable Immersive Context Menu" registry key function in 1803 and earlier versions)
