    Windows Logo is a yawner

So after decades of Macs I switched to the PC and Windows 10. Yes -- I love the direction Tim Cook has taken Apple. (You're hearing a toilet flushing right now.) So anyway --

-- two nights ago I noticed I really disliked this.

Yeah. I know. It's just a 'window'. But I really don't like it. I don't get that warm feeling I used to get when I saw this --

This isn't a marketing thing. It's a fine arts thing. The window is okay, not ugly, like this --

-- it's just that I'd like a warm fuzzy feeling. Even if it means breaking the window to fix it, if you will. Last night I simply Googled 'Microsoft Logo' and got assaulted by other harsh rigid designs. A recent favorite of Google --

I was like, okay, whatever. 'How something looks doesn't matter that much," so says MS purists.

But I'm telling you it does. I mean if you have to stare at it for hours a day. Well that Google search found something which I presume was someone's own design.

Whatever that is -- I love it. I even did a quickie mockup

    Ahh. Mmm. Much better.

Pretty good: I still like Win 7's Orb.. and dislike the flat style, so had to make some simple changes.

If you could get the dynamic effect too...

Yes it is , one reason I use Classic Shell but if it is such a yawner, why are you using a mock up of it as your Avatar and your start button?

I was using Libreoffice Impress to mock it up and I couldn't make the icon the right size. Thanks though.

I think you misread my initial post. I'm saying I like that final one.

No I based my reaction on this posted by you in the OP

A yawner to me means that it would put one to sleep.

With that being said, your Avatar does look better than the Windows Logo
