Perhaps if you were able to modify a resource in one of the dlls here:
C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Viewer
Personally I'm happy with it..!
But are we talking about the same Photo Viewer? One you've resurrected as per a tutorial? Yours looks more like a universal app - note the button style differences- in which case there will be no dlls.
(Mine will differ in the frame as I use Aeroglass - 3rd party prog).
Apparently it's a skin, like (but not actually) this one...
Windows Photo Viewer Modern Skin by JosephSM on DeviantArt
seems the menu bar isn't easy to include in the skin, that was one of the first questions in the comments for the above - as yet unanswered.
No, it's still the same 'plain vanilla' Windows Photo Viewer in 1803.I'm running 1709, so is this something added in 1803 perhaps?
Which in turn is a mod of this one:
PhotoViewer for Windows 10! by Smallvillerus on DeviantArt
Where, in the comments is asked the question...
to which the designer replies (google translation)...Can u replace Topbar to fit with new Design ?
So it looks like @Aakshat is stuck with the standard menu bar, I'm afraid.I looked through all the resources that are tied to PhotoViewer but I found the image of this top panel so I can not do anything about it. I do not like it myself.
Its a mod of Same Windows Photo Viewer from Win 7. I was able to modify icons inside the dll file. but i couldn't find anything to change menubar, so thought if its possible to change by modifying hex.
Yes, and that is my DA profile. I have modified it.
If you have paid attention to the username. I am the same guy. that is my DA profile.
And after dpcdpc11 made that comment there. i thought i should give it a try.
In Explorer the menubar can be themed by a custom theme. I was not sure if photo viewer shares same theme style as Explorer.
Icons were easy to change by reshack because they are normal PNG's inside the dll. But wanted to know if its possible to change menubar by modifying hex values inside the dll or not.
As there were many users on sevenforuns that have good knowledge about themeing,I thought to give it a try. but as i am on win 10 now, i posted it here.
Jerry replied on Sevenforums and it looks its not possible for now.
