Hi guys, guess I have a problem with my start menu in full screen mode, it doesn't show me the desktop wallpaper background anymore, but this dark image instead.
I also tried transparency effects "on", but it didn't change anything, how can i fix this?
I still have this problem, any other possibile fix? Thanks!
Perhaps I assumed you were in full screen mode and didn't want to be, if so, sorry. But what happens if you don't use it in full screen mode- any change? Can you get the start menu out of full screen or tablet mode?
Can you confirm you've tried those?
Next step- create a new user for test purposes. Does the same happen when logged in as that user? This discriminates between a general Windows problem and your user profile.
If it works with the new user you might learn something that could help you with the original, but it's more likely you need to try a repair.

Drag the app icons to the right of the actual menu and then click out of the start menu. It should shrink it.
