    Registry settings in Regedit

I am unable to get copyprofile to work on the Creator's version of Windows 10. I have been using registry settings to get it the way I want it.

This is probably a silly request but I want to find it. Typically in my custom default profile, I open regedit to a full window and stretch the first column to the next column. I do this of myself and other IT folk we support, one less thing for us to do when working on a computer. Anyone know where that might be located?

Do you mean this? Default Window Size and Positions - Super User

Should be if you set settings for default user it will copy to HKCU but I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

When I open regedit, there are two things I want as a default.
    1. For the first column to be stretched over to the next column. So the deeper you go into the hives, the column divider doesn't get in the way.

    2. I want it to open up completely. Not just a small window.

I know I can adjust this each time I go to regedit, but... it would be more efficient in the long run. Weird. I know.

I had a quick look with procmon. I'm pretty sure layout is stored here in "View" (see below).

Sorry I can't help on this but at least for me regedit seems to remember the window layout and these are the numbers that change moving the position/size/layout.

What the numbers mean though idk. Perhaps it is pixels or perhaps it is something else.

All I can see is both begin with 2c and there is a difference with a 2 and a 3 later (before all the fffff).

I think you would have to fiddle with it and see what happens.

Ah sweet! It worked. Who needs copyprofile when you have the registry to make the changes.

Honestly? No-one. That is what "RunOnce" key is for.

EDIT: In my limited experience of course - there may well be a good reason...
