Can someone help with adding iCloud Drive to explorer navigation pane?

I’ve managed to add every single thing I’ve wanted - largely via information and/or reg files I’ve found here.

The one that is missing (and likely a little convoluted courtesy of Apple) is iCloud Drive.

Anyone familiar with the process able to help me out?

    Hi klepp0906

Did you download and install iCloud for Windows?

You can only install iCloud on a PC if you have a Apple device setup with an Apple ID.

I did, I do. However icloud drive does not appear in the navigation pane. It pins it to quick access - but im looking for a means to perma-place it the same as dropbox and onedrive. Does that make sense?

Google Drive presented the same issue but a batch file available here remedied that. Unfortunately, ive looked far and wide and had no luck coming up with a similar solution for icloud drive.

I guess it makes sense, you want it.

I would imagine you could get it to list under libraries but that wouldn't be much different than it being in Quick Access.

Not sure how to make it a "Heading" although this is likely a Registry hack. Hopefully another member has had the same requirement.

Maybe the answer is to get a "Better" file manager that allows for more default customizations.

Maybe upload and post that batch file, and someone here can tinker with it to work with iCloud. Just a thought.

    Your request must make sense.

I searched creating a top level category in windows 10 file explorer and plenty of hits, no answers.

    I like TC's suggestion.

Doesn't that sound like something Shawn would have cooked up? Bet he's got it deep down in his bag of tricks.

I'm afraid that I don't know for iCloud.
