No Screensaver after 10 update

This might sound stupid, too. Not all systems have all of those options under "Shutdown Settings". For me, I only get "Sleep" and "Lock" options. Not even "Hibernate" is listed.

Count me among those experiencing this issue. Fortunately, I've solved a number of my Windows 10 issues searching through these forums, so I'm sure we'll get this one figured out eventually too. I'm working my way (unsuccessfully) through the suggestions in this thread and I'm to the point of systematically removing all of my USB devices. When I go into the Device Manager, I see a TON of USB and HID-Compliant devices. There are 15 USB devices and 14 HID-Compliant devices. I find this a little odd...

For what it's worth, this is an arcade cabinet with MAME and various emulators. It has a trackball, a spinner, two Ultimarc arcade joysticks and two Aimtrak light guns. The screen saver I was using back with Windows 7 was the Google Photos screen saver and it would cycle through various arcade game screenshots and logos. It was a nice thing to have running when not using the cabinet and it kept the desktop from burning into the relatively cheap Emerson HDTV that I use for the screen.

You should have a option to press that says change options that aren't currently available. This will activate the options at the bottom so you can uncheck fast start up option at the bottom of the screen. It is not in the drop down.

I did save the changes, but I have not rebooted yet. I will try that and see what happens. Just in the middle of 5 different things at the moment!

And again, it only lists "Sleep" and "Lock". There are NO additional options listed when I click that "Change settings that are currently unavailable" link.

Look, I've tried just about every "solution" in this thread....None of them actually work permanently.

This is a bug which Microsoft will either address or not. At the moment, every morning I check the lock screen to see what the screen saver registers. Some days it's unchanged; some days it's back to 1 minute. I have no clue why. It's no big deal in the scheme of things.

So far everything else seems to be working as it should. I haven't had nearly as much trouble with the upgrade to 10 as I read elsewhere on this site.

I am on a PC, do you have any bios setting regarding wake up or sleep. Maybe it's motherboard specific. It is working for me now with what I did. If it changes I will let you know.

I assumed it was something like EFI vs BIOS (I am on an OLD platform, as far as technology goes). Just saying that the option you mentioned may not exist for all, since it wasn't available for me.

Thinking about it, that "fast boot" option could be an extension of the "Hibernate" functionality, which I tend to avoid on a desktop. If given the choice, I always disable "Hibernate" support on my desktop systems.
