    windows doesn't remember appearance setting

    Hello,
i am running on Windows 10 PRO 64 bit, on user without admin privilegies.
If i change appearance setting to custom, after next restart, it changes to default.
I don't have nosave dword in registry to delete.
Google found this as only solution.
No idea what to do thanks.

    You're welcome.
I had the same problem way back when Windows 10 was "Windows Technical Preview" in 2014.
It would sync my account on the Preview to my Windows 8.1 system, and caused theme corruption because with 8.1 you can use 3rd party themes with hacks, and Win 10 you cannot.
