    Winaero Tweaker can reduce border width (or increase) along with quite a few other nice tweaks.

    but does is work with non-DWM apps? See my comments with dalchina in this thread regarding MSOffice 2016.

    Ah, my bad on the Office info. That's why reading is our friend. Anyway:

    This does allow the boarder width to be changed, but changing to dark mode messes with File Explorer's address bar in that the text and background are both white.
