That is good news Wynona and Good EveningGood afternoon/evening, all.
Gracie and Lucy went to the SPCA today. They have a low cost spay/neuter and shot clinic once a month and that helps a whole lot, financially.
Gracie got checked for heart worms and got her annual DA2PPV vaccination and was highly insulted, to say the least. I learned that if she's gonna bite, she gives no audible warning, but the vet tech was way ahead of her. He started to pick her up and was out of the way before she could close her jaws on his fingers! After I got her on the table, he had to hold her down while they took blood for the heart worm check and poke in the butt for the vaccination, and when he put her on the floor, his quick moves didn't fail him this time either! Of course, she tested negative and will begin her
Lucy got two pokes; one for rabies and one for her first annual FVRCP vaccination. She didn't even seem to know she'd been poked. That tag she got is so big, She has an appointment to be spayed on January 12 . . .
I feel so good that both my babies are now protected and that after January 12, there'll be no danger of unwanted kitties being born.
