I'm off to church. You all have a great day. Catch up later.
Well, I did ask a lot of questions about the scans. I had one of the radiologists explain to me how a MRI works.
What's amazing is how fast they get done now because of faster computers. When I got my 1st PET scan a few years back i had to lay in the machine for 1 HR & 45 mins. Nowadays your average PET scan is about 30 mins.
Same thing with CT & X Ray. A CT scan of your body used to take 30 mins, give or take a few. Now they can do it in about 10 mins & have your results 10 mins later.
The most time consuming thing used to be the computer had to build the pictures into files & that took quite some time to put all the info together. My 1st PET scan, the tech told me it would take about 4 hrs to put all the info together. Now it's ready 5 mins after you get back to the waiting room.
Gotta love it when tech helps out in medical science.
Have a good day HG.
Afternoon Keith, Andre and Paul.
Morning Mike and Sammy, Josey, Bob, Beeman, HG and Borg.
Saw Bill was back online after his procedure.
Good luck with yours Borg.
Last year I had two MRI's. Cut two of the four muscles off in my shoulder, clean. Let me me tell you that hurt, think I was in shock when I got to Emergency. The surgery to reattach was more painful than the accident but I had no choice.
