Up from hour and a half nap; chainsaws prepared for use tomorrow.
Gonna clear some space to build a chicken pen for my Ameraucanas. They're in a pen that will soon be way too small for them, so I need to make some room down here. I think we might keep the Lavender Ameraucana hen that provided the eggs for my flock.
Cyndi's getting ready to sell off one of her older flocks that will be laying for at least a couple more years to make room for the Blue Copper Marans, which she likes much better than the mutt chickens. Gorgeous little gals . . . if she's right, out of eleven fuzz butt hatchlings, only one, with a possible second, is of the male persuasion.
Benton recently opened a very nice park called River View something or other, which has a lot of adult recreation plus activities for boys and girls. Included is a Senior Citizen Center. We went there for a $3.00 lunch; donated some paperback books I've read and had a couple of practice games of pool. They have everything you can think of for seniors, including computer classes, exercise and bean bag toss plus dominoes. I may wind up being a volunteer computer teacher; don't know yet, as it depends on whether the needs match my knowledge.
