Thank you, things looking better for Miami and South Florida. My mom decided to stay home and ride out the hurricane.

I'm in Inverness (Citrus Co) and right in the current "direct line" path. May be Cat 3 when it passes over us. I have some tarps standing by in case the house takes a major hit and leaks. Got my home recording studio and lots of musical instruments that don't like getting wet. I've been in Hurricanes before and a Typhoon in Taipei Taiwan (when I was in the Air Force) but nothing the size of Irma.

Hope all in Irma's path manage to stay safe and comfortable.

So far our plans - My Wife, dog and I are staying home in our manufactured (2003 built) home in Lakeland, Florida.

Lessons learned - Should have bought a Generator, Next year we'll get nice, large capacity Propane one, and hope we'll never have to use it in the future

NOW.........Polk County (Florida, where we live) have Tornado Warnings until midnight tonight !!
