After a 3H's day, we got some rain in the eve & it actually cooled down, in the lower 60's this morn.

My Wife told me yesterday that the schools that are already back in session are going to be off on Mon for the eclipse. Something about wanting to be sure the kids are supervised by their parents & not sneaking peeks at the eclipse during class time. Probably a liability thing.

A lot of the stores around here have signs on the front doors saying "Sorry, no Eclipse glasses."

Morning Computiac. Yep, I know what you mean. We got major holidays off, voting day in some instances & parent/teacher conf days & that was about it.

But then it wouldn't surprise me one bit if some kids peeked at the eclipse without glasses & the parents would blame the school for anything that happened. Just the way it is today....
