I don't use plugins, Borg, so FF seems to be working well for me.

It's happened before, maybe a month or so ago. The addon NoSquint was dropped by the dev, and another guy picked it up ans made NoSquint Plus. Back aroung FF 51 or 52, it broke, because of FF code (wave of the future crap). Had to drop back on NoSquint Plus till he found what FF did, then he issued a new rev. Same thing now. He is painfully aware of it, and working (I hope) to fix.

Yeah, I remember someone else took it up. Went from NoSquint to NoSquint Plus. I had some probs initially but it worked good after a bit.

Kinda figures, all the latest attempt by FF with multiprocess & what not. I think FF should have a version that does not have multiprocess enabled or give you the option to turn it off.

I'm seriously worried about if I might have to start looking for another browser with all this junk they are throwing into the works.

I read about Avast buying CCleaner also. Not sure this is a good thing. Like you all, I'll keep an older copy on had just in case.

For some strange reason NoSquint Plus quit working yesterday, tried uninstalling/reinstalling & just will not work. Something to work on during the week when our PC isn't needed for movies like it will be today.
