I agree HG - the upper windows look really bad.LOL. They do look like eyebrows, don't they.
The roof is made up of scissor trusses. I would have gone with a ridge beam and rafters to get full trapezoids or just eliminated them.

That's a cute story @Wynona. Sorry you hurt yourself though!I just came back. Had to take some Tylenol for my poor hurting feets. I wouldn't tell this on myself, but I do have to brag on Gracie.
A few weeks ago, I took a header in my hallway, and have been waiting for my left (this time) twisted knee to heel. OK, so it's getting there . . . kinda sorta . . . until today . . .
So, we're working on Gracie's Fort Knox and I'm on the highest part of her wall; the one she jumps up onto when she feels the need to escape. So, we've been using her steel reinforced "string" to tie her to. She's really quite gracious about it. We ask if she needs to go outside and she goes to the door and sits so I can attach her "string".
Yesterday we bought some 36" wire fencing so she could go in and out at will again. Had it almost all finished today when I failed to pay attention to what I was doing. Yep, I fell offen da wall! Well . . . not actually . . . when I knew I was going down, I just jumped! And yep, I landed on my right foot this time! Ouch! Of course, I toppled over, but didn't kill myself . . . again!
And here's my sweet Gracie: Johnny's leaning over me to see if I've survived and Gracie's looking at me. Johnny moves back so I can get up and Gracie, looking all contrite, creeps over to me and starts to check me over! I mean, all over! Once she decided I'd live, she gently crawled up into my lap and hugged me in her special way.
Gotta love that dog! Of course I expected Johnny to worry about me, but a dog!? None but Gracie.
Hi Mr. Bill.
