Afternoon simrick :)
Okay this shouldn't be too difficult at all.
You'll need to determine if you have the Traditional oats or the Quick-Cook ones.
Put the following in the pot:
1 cup steel cut oats
2-1/2 to 3 cups cold water (depends on how you like your oats)
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. nutmeg
Make sure the oats are completely covered by the water. Adjust lid, make sure vent is closed.
Set manual timer for high pressure,
Traditional oats: 10 minutes
Quick Cook oats: 3 min. natural release, or 5-6 minutes quick release
When finished, open the lid, stir to thicken, then stir in:
¼ cup brown sugar (or maple syrup)
1 tsp. vanilla
Spoon into bowls, add fresh fruit, drizzle with milk, cream or half & half, or stir in some yogurt just before serving.
Stores in fridge for up to 3 days.
Here, old version, but maybe this will help? (updated)
