    just checked with my Office 365. Added outlook.com account and it behaves fine. No problem at all.

    Maybe you have too many computers assigned to your account (including old ones - Outlook sometimes deletes them, sometimes not)

    I just checked and I have three installations, one of which is an obsolete 15" Lappy I sold. I haven't set it up on the 17" Lappy since the clean install.

    This happened to me once or twice, but on work account (local exchange server). Once it was too many machines. the other was because of a wrong password
