RAID0 and AHCI are the only choices, and are set in BIOS. I set it to AHCI and it went berserk and tried to boot over the network ipv4 !!!! No thank you. I'll find a way. if it's possible and worth it.

Diff question. Set the BIOS OC to LV2. No smoke. HWinfo and taskmanager show diff things. TM shows 4.2 and HWinfo shows 4.7 ???

TC, I haven't read the rest of this thread yet. But, go to msconfig and set it to boot into safe mode. Then reboot, during the reboot, go to bios and change to AHCI. Boot into safe mode for a few minutes, go back to msconfig and have it boot normal and reboot. That should work fine.

First, I think I would try to see why it is set to Raid. What is it raided with? If it is really in a raid 0 with another drive, in-raiding it will cause a loss of data.
