Just waking up.... Not sure about this raid thing. Thought you had to have 2 drives for raid0.

Raid0 is mirroring isn't it. Raid0 is striped over 2 volumes without redundancy.

Do you have any idea WHY the boot drive would have to be setup as Raid0 Keith??

No. My experience with RAID is limited to a RAID 5 configuration we had many years ago on an IBM mainframe.

Could be that Speccy is misreading some data?? Or is RAID0 set in BIOS? Some kind of caching could be involved

Yes I believe his Raid0 is setup in his bios.....by Dell. From what I am reading it will be a pain to remove too. But can be done. Just need to backup all files 1st....which of course is done.

TC will figure this all out, I am sure. Glad I don't have to go thru removing Raid thou. That would really piss me off. :)

RAID0 and AHCI are the only choices, and are set in BIOS. I set it to AHCI and it went berserk and tried to boot over the network ipv4 !!!! No thank you. I'll find a way. if it's possible and worth it.

Diff question. Set the BIOS OC to LV2. No smoke. HWinfo and taskmanager show diff things. TM shows 4.2 and HWinfo shows 4.7 ???
