Not sure yet.

Might instead upgrade my CPU/ motherboard. (but still something older like Haswell, I can't afford Kaby Lake or Skylake) and then just save up for a good GPU like the 1070.

Get an EVGA 1080 if you can afford it. I use an EVGA 1060 with 6 Gb of mem and I can play any game with it. EVGA also will not rip you off.:)

I would consider saving up and getting a 1080, but I think my FX-6300 would probably bottleneck it.

Then again, I don't even have a full HD monitor so I'm not even gaming in 1080p so a 1060 maybe all I need.
