Had to make a trip to pickup my threshold moldings, as they called and told me they were ready. So that was about a 2 hour trip there and back. Now I've got to trim them up a bit, light stain, and clear coat them.

Only got one fan in, took 2 smaller ones out, and replaced it with this bigger one, which also is higher speed. Only one more to install, maybe tomorrow :)

On medium to low yes TC, but right now I got 2 running at high speed, so you can hear them pretty good. They will idle down by themselves when cpu cools down a little more.

The one I made was a newer model with an actual crystal and we did not need an alligator clip. We also had a headset. Circa 1960.

Thank you, Albert Steve. I found through a, ahem, wise friend that the choice would not be logical. One cannot use choices 1, 2, and 6 in a combination, for an alter in the menu would eliminate the other two. This is in the notion of permutation, of course.
