Just checked physically. My Samsung monitor is both HDMI or DVI input and presently using HDMI from the Bobster, which its video card has DVI too. I may want to use DVI, which I hear is best.

My other monitor is VGA, so no problem there.

The Acer tower is VGA output.

What I'm wondering is if adapting HDMI or DVI to VGA makes a difference in performance.

Just FYI: Adapters for VGA (analog) > digital (anything) will need to be a converter not just a simple adapter.

For Digital > VGA, I'm not sure - digital is steps, while analog is flow. I've never done it.
