4k tv as main pc monitor

I just got a new 55" LG 4k tv, nothing super expensive. I hope there's others with the same or similar setup because I want to hear/read how your tv's set up. Share with me your exact settings within the TV for best gaming experience.

Yes I know I should be using some kind of super expensive computer monitor but that's not really a soon to happen option.

Hoping I can get a little help tuning mine in the process.

I use my desktop computer as my media center, I plug that into my 60" 1080p TV with a HDMI cable. It looks really good.

The only thing I had to change was a setting on the TV because the desktop looked too big for the screen -- I think it was called overscan in one of the advanced settings of the TV setup.

I have my desktop computer resolution set at 1,920 by 1,080 pixels ("Full HD" 1080p) you may need 3,840 by 2,160 (Ultra HD or 4K)

I tried to search for the right term and found this
Overscan: You're not seeing the whole picture on your TV - CNET

Each TV company has a different place and name for overscan. I can't list them all, but I hope I can give you a few examples so you can find it on your TV.The most common setting name is called something similar to "Size." It might also be "Wide," "Screen Fill," "Screen Fit," "Aspect Ratio" or "Format."
Annoyingly, once you find the control, the options aren't always labeled well. What you're looking for is 1x1 pixel mapping, which, as it sounds, maps each pixel in the source to each pixel on your TV. Some TVs will label this as "Full," "Fit" or "Dot by Dot." If it's not clear, select each one and see which one shows the most image.
Others TVs, like Panasonic and Sony, have an additional setting you must enable to get 1x1. On many Panasonic TVs, once you've enabled "Full" you also have to select "Size 2" in the settings menu to eliminate overscan. Sneaky.
If you get stuck, the manual (paper or onscreen) probably has the answer.

Right now I am also on 1920x1080. It's the largest resolution I have atm. I'm using an HDMI to DisplayPort cord.

I've set the appropriate Resolution through the graphics card 3840x2160 and the 4k tv accepted it. Now I have a new problem, I'm also using 2 32" tv's and had to scale up windows, looks good on the main 4k but now the 32's are waaaaay too large.

    Whoops

    Scratch that idea...

I was however able to use that higher resolution in Mafia 3 so I'm happy, that's the whole reason I got it was for gaming. It doesn't jump out at you but the picture is better.
