You don't have to go out in this storm Bob ....Poor Sammy has to go out 7 or 8 times today ....and she don't like snow. Plus ....I go out with her.... .... LoL

The pleasure of being a "Daddy". I did that with mine, but now he won't go out unless I go with him. I have about 3 Acres all fenced in, but no, he has to have someone go with him. But, I guess It's my fault, not his.

Yup I hear you Steve, I have an Invisible Fence setup here, uses 1.5 acres. I have 2.5 total. But right now Sammy is much to young for that collar and system. Plus I need to train her on this system in the spring or summer, when she gets a lot bigger.

That would be a good idea if I could get at all the major water lines in the house. Unfortunately only a fraction of them are exposed in the basement, meaning the ones in the walls would still be vulnerable. Good idea though, I had one of those on the old water line before it rusted out & had to get a new one put in.

@Wynona, thank you :). Just really lousy timing with this whole debacle.

I went to the dollar store & got a little space heater for the room & put a blanket across the doorway, it's back up to 64° so it's better then it was (53°)
