    Of course, the clue is in the name.

    Whiskey is not Whisky.

    Contrary to popular myth, spelling of Whisky for is not limited to Scotland and some countries do spell their drink as Whisky. Canadian Club which is really a Scotch in effect is a good example.

    In simple terms, if it has an e in the name, it is a totally different drink and it is pointless comparing them. I will not say inferior as I like Irish Whiskey.
