At least here in Germany, you need prescription for Champix (not Compix as I wrongly wrote in my previous post). It's not an over-the-counter drug here.

After Hubby had a heart attack and bypass surgery, he was told to stop smoking. Of course, that meant me too. I also quit cold turkey; it was hard, but I made it 21 years ago.

Well done you Wynona, I don't know if I'd have managed it cold turkey, I started smoking when I was 16 and packed up when I was in my 60's.

Good to hear, as I said I found it easy using the patches and it didn't cost me a thing the doctor put them on prescription for me.

I saw this yesterday Kari, I've seen other programs with similar stories, I'm not surprised by how much they do remember. :)
