Heading out in about an hour. I'm learning a song that my teacher composed and I'm learning things to write my own song!

I'll share some of it with you later on today.

Very frustrating day for me. The cutting lasers I'm working with have Windows XP (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) as their base operating system and either from gremlins or the long week-end off laser 2 crashed TWICE today. When it crashes like that it doesn't save the abortion point and getting everything back to where it belongs without wasting a lot of steel is a real pain in the backside. On the bright side though, I only screwed up one piece. (yes, I'm patting myself on the back )

I have to admit I hate most of modern "pop" music, including about everything in today's live concert in Manchester. However, as this concert is to support victims of terrorist attack in Manchester on 22nd of May, I decided it is my responsibility to watch the full concert.

So here I am, watching and listening artists I don't like performing music I hate to show my support, having sent my €10 text message (not much, I know, but all I could afford for now).

Let the religionist fanatics not win, whatever their religion and goals are!

I finally jumped over my own shadow today!

One of the things I have always been reluctant to do, is, financial stuff online

This morning I set up with the Temp firm I work for, to get my monthly pay/wages slip(lohnabrechnung) online and download it as a PDF. I just have way too much papers and a PC is easier to find & sort stuff. I place a copy to OneDrive, just incase I ever get hit with Ransomware and lose the stuff(because I'm not Paying!).

Also I even did my taxes finally, and that using the German tax office's online Elster. Next year I can request a pre-filled formula and just add the couple of write-offs I have, and be done:)
