My old one was still doing the job (mostly) but had to switch to newer generation. I haven't made such a complete jump since first Athlon processors. Always just nudging it bit by bit. With sale of my old set CPU - MB- RAM I'm only about 100 bucks out of the pocket and that payed for itself long time ago.

My pension cheques arrived today but for this month only. Looks like some post office has lost ones for last month. Gonna have to write and claim those for last month to get re-issued. Last time (couple years ago) when that happened to one cheque (check to Americans), it took 3 months to get new one.
