Good morning everyone.
I was wrong yesterday; Bobby hadn't eaten at all! Gracie had struck again; she's the one who cleaned up Bobby's treats and food! I would kill her, but you know how it is . . .
I Ninja'd some wet kitten food and almond milk for Bobby. Maybe he'll like that. I forced a little into his mouth so he'd know how good it is.
He's drinking water, but still hasn't eaten.
Yes, he's had a traumatic experience, what with dislocating his knee and being neutered on top of that. It may be that the drugs are still working their way out of his system.
Even with his poor leg useless, he gets into his litter box (thank goodness he remembered what it's for). He went out the doggie door yesterday; it was a struggle, but I let him see if he could do it and he could. I did take him down the four steps to the yard, though.
I hope you're right and that he knows what's best.
My younger cat has had surgery when he was around 4 or 5 month. (has been neutered too, few week before). For a day or two, he just slept with minimum water to drink and don't remember if he asked for any treats. Next day he just came and ask for food.
Hope Bobby will be better tomorrow.
