    Good afternoon/evening, Yappers.

A cloudy 38°F/2°C. A thunderstorm last night with a pouring rain. Glad it wasn't snow. Water sitting everywhere due to ground frost. Just plain weird weather this year.
    Afternoon HG.

LOL, yes :) Funny thing, what combination of words a man can find, while in the search of the right one..

Last snow melted while it was snowing. Frozen afterward and it is difficult to clean the walkways and streets now...
This is how our river Drava looks like this days:

Hate to start a grammar war, but Andre is correct.

If he had said: "i hope this isn't deep ", it would indicate an adjective...deep describing the 20'. Depth indicates a noun, describing what it is.

don't throw things at me! i'm old and feeble!!
Well, Professor, you didn't quote him correctly. He said "i hope this isn't depth ". Admittedly he is correct in his "phrase", but misleading, for he is assuming we know the subject of his "phrase". It's not a complete sentence in that regard. It should be "I hope 20' isn't the depth".

    Remember the nuns? Rebuttal?.....

Nice scenery, Andre. You live at where you can see the river?

Here's our Fox River. An open green, dirty sewer. It's a shame for this was clean, clear water in 1961 when we moved into town. Now rated in the top 10 worse-polluted waterways in the US.

This is at flood stage at the dam, which it probably looks like after all this rain. Perhaps worse.

Um, sorry to hear that (about pollution), HG. Drava is less polluted now, than it was 20 or 30 years ago. Less industry and more strict regulation.

No, I don't see river from my home, but my workplace is almost in vicinity :)
