Well I've been reading your posts, on trying to help simrick, with MR telling her she needs to update, even thou she has the latest version.......I can don't have that issue at all, if I use MR and ask it to check for an update, it reports I have the newest update......so ....is this issue on MR when running it from a USB stick?? Because MR gives me no problems from my desktop ......I do have the Pro version thou.....
It's not an issue with the MR version, 1665...it keeps telling her (and apparently others) that she needs to update the WinPE used to create a Rescue DVD/Thumb. I don't get the problem either.

From what I understand from the thread the problem is that every time a new repair disk is created it is saying that a new version of the PE is available. I don't have that problem myself probably because I'm on W7 and not using the 1607 PE version.

Can't be Insider vs RTM. I'm using Insider...you RTM. Can rule that out. And Keith is on 7. So..........we'll just blame it on Malcolm cause he's not here!
