Winter in central Canada
This morning we had a temp of -29, add on the windchill... it was -40 in Saskatoon. Can you imagine what it was up north...?

Well, I grew up here. A low of -25 for the night in the middle of winter is normal. One good thing is.. Air - spread germs die off.
The coldest weather I ever had to work in was -4°F. That was back in the early 70's. I'm glad those days are in the past.
Nippy there Sam, but nice trade off for beautiful country......looove Canadian scenery, wildlife and fishing....folks are really nice too!
Now, I probably understand why my mother moved to US, for the warmer temperatures, it was only -20* F last week with windchill only -45* F. Somebody want to tell my why the folks from Kingston, Ontario often make it to 99 years young, is it the water?

You guys are lucky.. white Christmas... here in the Netherlands not so much.
Merry Christmas to all..
I have been in -40 in Northern Ontario and Quebec. It's temperature where Fahrenheit and Celsius meet and bloody cold whichever you use. Once or twice since '74 it got that cold in Toronto too.
Toronto used to average -16c for winter months.
Up until last night the ground was adequately covered with snow. It's coming down today and tomorrow. Snow-mobiler's paradise...!
