well its all soldered and working, bluetooth and wifi worked out of the box, I ran it with the sdcard from my pi3,,,now to hot glue it into the flashlight tray and hope the antni cable will find someplace to go ,,,
side not the holes in the bottom of the flashlight look worse than they are ! really ,,,well kind of ,,it was really hard to gauge where they need to go,, and I kept missing lol,,,
My PC video cards have the Mini HDMI on them. I have two long Mini HDMI to HDMI cables as a result. They also work great on the Pi Zero. I have two of those shorty ones too. Well I will when this next order arrives. I had to order a kit with the adapters included to get the Zero, all the singles were sold out. Happened once before too, so now I have 2 sets. No big deal as I will likely need them at some point. I have 3 Zeros now, 2 version 1.3's and 1 of the original version 1's. The Mini USB OTG adapter is the one you generally can't do without.
OK, that straightens that out. The first Pi Zero I bought still doesn't have a header soldered on it. I'm waiting until I commit it to a dedicated project before I solder one on. I have one connected to my Explorer PHat via the normal header. The new one that's on the way I'll leave header less too until I decide what I'm going to use it for. No point in rushing things, and then having to unsolder it, as you've already found out.
