    At some point yeah. I haven't decide what Pi I might put in it. I'll remove the screws and take the tape and spindles out first. And see what the inside looks like. I might try just using that flip cover to hide the ports, haven't decided. Removing the locking latch should be easy, then you just open it with your fingers. I may even take the return spring out so it stays open. I'm working on my dad's laptop at the moment so it will be a day or too until I have at it. I want to get that all done and shipped back to him first. It's his only PC.

    It's been my experience that the only things PNP on a Pi are USB devices. I see GitHub links for one of them so I would think that's where the packages are. There should be readme's there with install instructions.

    i supported a kickstarter and got a soundcard with mic [not the same as the ones on Pimironi ]and speaker /rca ,haven't taken the time yet to read all about how it works[was another one of my impulse Buys ,lol] ,it has ability to record sound using software ,ect ect
    the mic's on the pimironi ones are built in ,i have to solder on a mic
