I get a black box with a red smiley : / and a "This video is unavailable" "sorry about that".

An admin posted to my thread on Adafruit, told me to contact support for a new UV sensor. =)

Just got the e-mail with instructions for getting a new replacement SI1145 free of charge from Adafruit. Fingers crossed that its the issue. If its the GitHub stuff I downloaded I'm going to have egg on my face for sure. If it was that I would think it wouldn't work at all? It's intermittent, which is the worst type of fault to try and diagnose.

Just got the confirmation e-mail that my replacement just shipped. I've had it running almost all day with no glitches. I just switched it to battery and unplugged the power supply. Will run it like that for a while to see what happens. I did that yesterday and it was fine. I've changed a few lines of code in my python file since then though. It only seems to crap out when I take it down to the dog park? Might be a heat issue? Or the sensor craps out when it gets bright sunlight? Time will tell I guess?

This Pi running headless with no monitor complicates it even more. I opened it up the other day, hooked up a monitor and keyboard, and ran my file from idle for hours and hours. Nothing, worked fine. Put it all back together, took it to the dog park, UV reading went to 0 in about 5 minutes.
