Just did my other order from Adafruit, the stuff I should have ordered last time. Managed to score a Zero W without having to buy a kit.
It's connected to an explorer pHat, waiting for more parts for a rover project. That project is on the back burner at the moment. I'll have 3 Zero W's when this last one arrives. It's only 10 bucks, so its no big deal to add that much to an order I'm already going to make. Assuming I can get just a Zero W. The last couple of orders I made there were no singles available. Only kits. I already have two sets of adapters etc and don't need any more. I just bide my time and do a quick look for a Zero W before placing my order. When I get bored with my current projects I'm sure I'll find something to do with them.
I haven't researched it, but I'm hoping too at some point, link to Zero W's via WIFI or Bluetooth. Then control one via the other. One with a Joy pHat attached controlling the other with the explorer pHat. Maybe even stream camera video from one to the other. I dream big,
the only way to be,, not that I ever dream big ,,any this guy builds big ,he post a lot on google plus .robots and more, nice stuff ..it might open Dutch ,but I gives option to change it to English

The explorer PHat has two H-bridge motor drivers (up to 200mA per channel; soft PWM control). One for the left side and one for the right. They ran two motors off of each H bridge for four motors total on a Bilge Tank video. That's all I need to get things moving. The analog and digital inputs give lots of options for sensors. Distance, motion, bump sensors etc.
