    Good morning/afternoon folks.

We hit the high 80's again yesterday & this morn, while being a bit cooler, was still mild at 62°. That's all supposed to end tonight. Today should be in the high 70's.

For those of you with clear skies, there's a meteor shower that will be peaking tonight.

The Orionids meteor shower is about to hit its peak - here’s how to watch - ScienceAlert
Mornin' Dr.Borg, its gonna rain here tonight so I won't be lookin' at anything else.

Yep, same thing here. No sky show for us. Not that I would stay up being it's a work night for my Wife.

Heat, the thermostat magically connected itself. Been too warm to know how it works yet.
Hot water came back yesterday to almost normal, it doesn't last long.
Need's to have the temp turned up.

Morning Wynona. We were supposed to have rain overnight & it never showed. One more day of decent temps & then it goes to hell.

I saw on the map that some parts of the upper NE are going to have rain changing to snow Fri night - Sat night.

@Wynona, not sure what plans are like for broadband in the US, if you have unlimited then it shouldnt matter
This is from my Netflix account to show how much data it uses

Normal HD is about 3GB of data/hour (I think with Amazon this is about 5GB/Hour)
So watching 1 movie a week in HD (say 2 hours long), this would use up about 24GB/month
If you watch the same in UHD then times that by almost 3

It does vary a lot by provider, but i usually go by about 4 to 6 GB/hour for standard HD streaming
Thanks, Paul. We used to have unlimited, but most ISPs are throttling us down . . . mine has gone down to 250 GB, which would be OK if I don't stream.

Looks like they're gonna get us all one way or the other. Sigh . . .
