I read it over and over and could not figure out what was so funny.
It is a pretty subtle failure, one letter, but the meaning really changes.(remember I have been living in Germany and speaking German mostly, for the last 30 years)

I had the greatest English teacher in school. She started my journey into correctly using the English language. I can't tell you the rules, but I know how to tell the difference.

This is why they say the English language is the hardest to learn, I'm English and don't understand all the rules.

I'm getting there, slowly, but trying to keep busy to stop myself from going into a complete meltdown. Thanks for asking. I'm busy sorting stuff out so when I get offered a smaller place to live near to my daughter I won't have so much stuff to move.
