Eurovision - quite enjoyed it inspite of really RUBBISHY songs

    Hi there

Shows what a Nadir TV has become -- forced to stay in last night (Sat) -- so I watched Eurovision song contest -- in spite of the most hideous songs I've ever heard I actually quite enjoyed it !!!!! -- shows if that's the best offering on TV on a Sat Night then TV as a regular terrestrial medium isn't long for this world any more !!!!.

    Cheers

I saw some of it - the UK TV commentator (Graham Norton) was quite funny if you like his sense of humour. Also quite funny to read comments on social networks form other people who were watching.

I was a bit sorry for Germany though - I thought they had a very good song, but they got 'Nul Points'. Albania on the other hand wasn't a great performance - out of tune but still got lots of points.

And while I'm a big fan of Mahler's 2nd Symnphony, I'm not sure it made ideal half-time entertainment.
