Hello
After having tried both 1511 and the anniversary update, I find I Like 1511 so much more. I wish the deferment would not expire after x # of months. It's too bad we couldn't have our choice.
The anniversary update had icon duplications like file explorer in start, an odd layout -more complicated, and other features I think were a regression.
Not only that but my web cam did not function with Skype which M.S. bought.
I have been drifting towards an alternate OS experience due to the many issues with Windows. It's like a child when it is good it is very good and ......
I experienced sluggishness and my mouse was erratic. I imaged back to 1511 and it was a delight.
I hope the issues for so many are ironed out by the time my deferment period is over.
I understand there are improvements like security with Defender but when one foot goes forward two feet go back.
Chromium is ok but the book has no optical drive. Linux has never enticed me and Apple is too much for me.
My wife could never maintain Windows so I have to find an alternative for her.

Until then, and for as long as I can, I guess I will be the maintainer and try to wriggle around the problems.
I can see a clean install down the road when the deferment is over.
I think those who upgraded all the way are those who have the most issues with the Anniversary upgrade. That applies to me.
I hope you received the upgrade well but feel badly for so many who were not as fortunate.
I used to like Windows and its features. It was convenient imaging and using these features but lately the scene has changed for me.
My 2 cents,
Peter
