From what I gather its a 'shadow image'?

We may be about to get an epic and unprecedented look at a black hole.

The Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) project, an international effort that aims to capture the first-ever image of a black hole, will announce a "groundbreaking result" at a news conference next week, team members said Monday (April 1).

The briefing, which will be hosted jointly by the EHT project and the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), takes place next Wednesday (April 10) at 9 a.m. EDT (1300 GMT) at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C. (NSF helps fund the EHT.) And you can watch the big news unfold: The event will be streamed live.

I used to sit and watch earth from the ISS earth cams for ages, I loved it, especially when it was overhead. now I don't watch it at all because they have removed the full screen and left me with a tiny view on which nothing can be seen. A conspiracy theorist would say its because they are fed up of UFOs and near ISS objects floating by. They say its for technical reasons which does not wash in the 21 century, the cameras are all HD and perfectly suited to full screen imagery. I sent NASA numerous emails on the topic and they have not replied to any.

I feel your pain @elbmek I get frustrated to but unless you're like Elon and have the wherewithal it's impossible to overcome bureaucracy. I used to have pretty good shoulders but the years have rounded them down, an' now, I just grin an' bare it.

SpaceX Falcon Heavy, all 3 boosters landed! Successful launch of Arabsat 6A (4/11/2019)

09:00" Starting to see a good booster / Earth perspective
10:37" Begins 4screen view of boosters landing back at launch site LC-39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida (the Apollo launch pad)
12:42" View goes to barge landing pad
12:45" Barge lights up from booster exhaust
12:50" Video cuts out - problems with unstable video connection lasts until
13:23" The video resumes with third booster successfully on barge. Telemetry and discussion from there until
17:05" When SatSep of Arabsat 6A occurs and fades into the void.
17:30 to 18:03 video closes with past achievements.

iirc; The barge video from the last one or two launches showed the landing on the barge, I'm sure SpaceX will be working on making the video feed fail-safe.

I've missed quite a lot over the past week

I've just spotted this which I thought was abandoned a few months back, but there has been a successful flight today, it should be interesting when the finally get around to launching rockets.

No worries. It makes catching up all the more sweeter, welcome back.

Abandoned. I thought so to especially when Paul Allen passed, it takes awhile to recover from something like that. I'm glad the Stratolaunch team was able to pull it together.

This is just 03:50 of a 2.5 hour test flight:

There's a camera artifact from lower right to upper left at the beginning but disappears at 0:18 and doesn't come back.
You just have to ignore the guy saying holy crap and OMG with a few WOO! HOO! HOOS! and wows He had to of known they were recording sound, oh well...
A couple of flyovers at 1:40 and again at 2:50,

Wednesday, April 17, 4:46 p.m.: Launch of the Northrop Grumman Antares rocket and Cygnus spacecraft from Wallops Flight Facility, Virginia on the NG-11 cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. Northrop Grumman's eleventh contracted commercial resupply services mission (NG-11) will deliver several tons of cargo including crew supplies and science experiments to the International Space Station.

Friday, April 26, 5:55 a.m.: Launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon cargo spacecraft from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on the CRS-17 resupply mission to the International Space Station. Dragon will carry supplies and science experiments on board, as well as NASA's Orbiting Carbon Observatory-3 (OCO-3) science instrument. OCO-3 will measure solar-induced fluorescence and carbon dioxide concentrations around the globe.

I worked as a computer geek civilian contractor on a NASA station, and I only saw one NASA employee. Likely not a good cross section, but he had a significantly large ego. And I thought mine was huge.
