    Hi @jimjoe,

I don't know what version of Stellarium you have but It's on the version I have for my laptop v0.18.2 . I also have v0.13.3 on my desktop and after I checked that, it's not on v0.13.3 but you should be able to add it, I tried but it wouldn't work for me.

How to add comets to Stellarium

If you have a newer version than .13 but not as new as .18; You could try checking in the Solar System Data base, the link above shows how to get there through the configuration window (the wrench with a star in the left slide out).
    • Open Config Window
    • Click on Plugins
    • Make sure the Load on startup box in Options at the bottom is checked or the configure button won't work. If it isn't check it and restart Stellarium, the configure button should work now. (omit this step if already checked and go to the next step)
    • Now that you're back at the plugins tab scroll the left panel down to Solar System Editor, select it
    • Click on the configure button, this will take you to the Minor Solar System objects window, click on the Solar System tab in the middle
    • Scroll down a bit and hopefully it's listed

If not listed the import orbital elements bar at the bottom along with the how to import comets link should help.

At first I couldn't find 21p G-Z but I found that I had to really zoom in to see it. It's there right by the left instep of Castor. I'd try tonight but it's pretty low until midnight and I didn't want to stay up that late I'll try in the morning before Florence's clouds move in.

    You're welcome,

When installing you might have problems with Controlled Folder Access.
Awhile back I took the precautionary step of adding this to my context menu: Add Allow App through Controlled Folder Access context menu Windows 10 Security System and added the Stellarium installer to Controlled Folder Access; Remember to reboot after every time you add anything to the Controlled Folder! Do not hesitate, make the reboot the very next step you do after any addition to the Control Folder.

I still had one control flag pop up, something about a is-AUTOO.tmp file that, I believe, is part of the Stellarium install process but Stellarium installed and I'm using it, so far without complications.
When installing you will see the installer remark that it will clear out any old files and options to clear any previous scripts that you may or may not want to keep.

Note for @Brink to use your alien powers:
    Note   Note
I along with others certainly wish microsoft makes a change that controlled access works as easily as using UAC (user account control) does.

I do install some things not in program folders... like Campaign Cartographer I use to make maps. So Stellarium isn't in Program Files either. I presume they all mostly go into ProgramData though.

Two Japanese probes landed on an asteroid and the pictures are amazing (10 Photos)

On September 21, two MINERVA-II1 rovers were deployed onto the asteroid Ryugu. The rovers, carried into space by the Hayabusa2 spacecraft (artist impression above), are the first rovers to ever land safely on an asteroid. At least one of them is patrolling the asteroid currently. As you can imagine, the pictures the rovers have beamed back to Earth are pretty incredible. They’ve even sent back some color, moving images of the Asteroids surface.
