Watched it this morning. Thanks for the link John!

Seen this when I was checking the local radar on accuweather it's only 22seconds long, you'll have to hit the play button: Incredible view of NASA's Insight probe launch captured from airplane

My thought; Who are they in the plane that looks like a piper cub and who got them clearance to be that close?

Thanks Bill, the acknowledgment and the inference from johnf.stiftler explains it.

    From Bills instagram link:

Astronomy Picture of the Day has lots of goodies. I didn't want to be a cowboy when I grew up, astronaut was it for me. Grades and eyesight dealt that hand away. Ah well.

    Looks like tomorrow:

Standing down today due to a standard ground system auto abort at T-1 min. Rocket and payload are in good health—teams are working towards tomorrow’s backup launch opportunity at 4:14 p.m. EDT, or 20:14 UTC.

I missed it, but the first of the production reusable rockets launched and was recovered fine I think I read that this one could meet NASA standards for manned flight with seven successful launches.

Yeah I missed it to RL an all that, but thanks for the video! It's a shame the video of the booster landing was in an' out then ended up pixelated but cleared up at the end. Here's one explanation on why that happens from Space Exploration Stack Exchange . A clearer version may be out in a few days.

Like games? I found this: SpaceX Falcon 9 Lander (now with Autopilot) I was doing pretty good then I lost control and had more crashes than landings.

    • The blue rectangle upper left switches to a larger screen.
    • Press space-bar to start then the red stop sign upper right pauses it. The green flag next to it re-starts the game.
    • If you tap the space-bar while it's running it will change the position and increase the amount of barges, keep tapping to return, each tap will re-start the landing.
    • The up arrow applies thrust, left vectors to the left, the right to the right.
    • The H key shows a green arrow from the base of the booster to apparently show which way the player should vector.

The Mars helicopter (drone?) is a good idea as it will greatly increase the rovers reach, I hope the twin blade system is enough to grab the lighter density atmosphere on Mars.
