My engine light lit up this weekend, don't know if it's actually the purge valve as the code says, or a loose gas cap. Ever since they put in the new gas cap a couple years back, you get the engine light occasionally, I tighten the gas cap & it goes away. Hope that's the case this time. Purge valve isn't expensive, but it's a bear to get at, under the car.
